Product Information
- Polyamine resin
Tris-(2-aminoethyl)amine resin is a cross-linking agent that can be used to remove polyvinyl from wastewater. It works by adsorbing polyvinyl and removing it from the water. The adsorption of polyvinyl onto Tris-(2-aminoethyl)amine resin is due to the formation of hydrogen bonds between the polyvinyl and Tris-(2-aminoethyl)amine resin. This process is reversible, so the polyvinyl can be released back into the water. Tris-(2-aminoethyl)amine resin has also been shown to have anti-HIV properties in vitro, which may be due to its ability to inhibit methionine aminopeptidase.
