(R)-Thiomorpholine-3-carboxylic acid is a heterocyclic compound that has been shown to be an inhibitor of the enzyme proton pump. (R)-Thiomorpholine-3-carboxylic acid is a magnetic resonance imaging contrast agent with a high signal intensity in magnetic resonance spectroscopy. It has also been shown to have an effect on the rotation of protons and therefore can be used as a rotatory marker in NMR experiments. The chemical structure of this compound can be determined by infrared and infrared spectroscopy, which are optical techniques for science. This compound is also characterized by its ability to form resonances in different media, including water and air. The resonant frequency of (R)-thiomorpholine-3-carboxylic acid under neutral conditions is 1,857 Hz at 25°C.
