Description

1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl hydrosulfide is a chemical compound that contains an ethylene diamine and a hydrazine group. It has antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria and inhibits the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. 1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl hydrosulfide has been shown to have potent antitumor activity in vivo. It also has been shown to be nonmutagenic in bacteria and mammalian cells. 1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl hydrosulfide is not toxic to humans or animals in high doses. The toxicity studies on this compound have been done using carbon disulphide as a solvent.
