Description:
2,4,6-Tris(heptafluoropropyl)-1,3,5-triazine is an electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) reagent that has been used for the detection of diacids in a variety of foodstuffs. It has also been used to detect and quantify compounds with cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry. The calibration curve is linear from 0.01 to 100mg/mL, with a limit of detection at 1.0mg/mL. This reagent can be used in the presence of glycols or acetonitrile as solvents and yields high quality data even if only small amounts are present in the sample.
