Description

Resorcinol sulfide is a crosslinkable, polyfunctional monomer that is used in the production of polycarbonate plastics and other polymers. It can be used to manufacture thermoplastics, such as polyhydric phenols, which are used in lubricants and textiles. Resorcinol sulfide has been shown to be an effective crosslinking agent for epoxy resins, with a viscosity that is similar to that of liquid resins. It also has a high degree of reactivity and can be used to produce hard thermosetting plastics.
