Product Information
Tetrakis(4-bromophenyl)methane is a chemical compound that is used for the treatment of wastewater. It is a catalyst for the Suzuki coupling reaction and also stabilizes activated carbonyls. Tetrakis(4-bromophenyl)methane has been shown to have high values in wastewater treatment applications, with a constant uptake rate of 0.1 mol/L. The transport properties are also relatively good, with a Koc value of 1090 L/mol at pH 7. Tetrakis(4-bromophenyl)methane can be used as an alternative to other catalysts such as palladium or copper, which are expensive and have lower stability.
