1,4,8,12-Tetraazacyclopentadecane is a cyclic molecule. It contains a cyclohexane ring with four amine groups and twelve hydrogen atoms. The nitrogen atoms are located on the corners of the ring. It has a hydrochloric acid functional group and is an isomer of 1,4,5,8-Tetraazacyclooctadecane. This compound is a ligand that reversibly binds to ruthenium complexes and can be used in techniques such as NMR spectroscopy or X-ray crystallography. 1,4,8,12-Tetraazacyclopentadecane has been shown to cause cancer in rats and irreversible oxidation in mice.
