Description:

2,4,6-Trifluorobenzoyl chloride is a reactive chemical with the molecular formula of CClF. It is used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, dyes, and other organic compounds. The compound is sublimed and can be used for atomic force microscopy experiments. The compound has been shown to be an efficient deprotection agent for acrylonitrile in the presence of piperidine. 2,4,6-Trifluorobenzoyl chloride can be synthesized by reacting pyridine and electron under high pressure conditions. This reaction produces a yield of about 60%.
