Product Information
Talatisamine is a hydroxylated derivative of oroxylum indicum, a plant that has high resistance to the drug. The structure of talatisamine contains a hydroxyl group at C-3 and an aconite root skeleton. It is derived from the natural compound curcuma aromatica and shares many structural similarities with congestive heart failure drugs. Talatisamine has been observed to have anti-inflammatory effects in animal models of chronic arthritis and may also be able to lower blood pressure. It may be effective in the treatment of congestive heart failure due to its ability to inhibit angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) activity.
