Product Information
- 1,1,1-trimethyl-N-(trimethylsilyl)-N-[(trimethylsilyl)oxy]silanamine
- N,N,O Tris trimethyls ilylhydroxylamine
N,N,O-Tris(trimethylsilyl)hydroxylamine is a hydroxamic acid. It reacts with chlorides and acid chlorides to give alkylhydroxamates. Hydroxylamine is used as a precursor to hydroxamic acids, which are used for their anti-inflammatory properties. The reactivity of N,N,O-tris(trimethylsilyl)hydroxylamine has been demonstrated in the cleavage of aliphatic acids by reacting with hydroxylamine. This reaction yields an amide and an α-chloroacetic acid.
