Tetrabutylammonium dichloroaurate is a polycarboxylic acid with the chemical formula CHCl(CHCO). It has a neutral pH and melts at about 193 °C. It is used in the synthesis of fluorinated alicyclic compounds, such as ferrocene, and in the synthesis of organic chlorine compounds. Tetrabutylammonium dichloroaurate has shown anticancer activity against various human tumor cell lines in culture.
