2,3,5,6-Tetrafluoroanisole is a polyatomic molecule that contains four fluorine atoms. It has a molecular weight of 184.88 g/mol and a density of 1.097 g/cm3 at 20 °C. Tetrafluoroanisole is a halogenated aromatic hydrocarbon that has been shown to inhibit the H1N1 influenza virus (covid-19 pandemic), but not the H5N1 avian influenza virus.
