Product Information
6-(Trifluoromethyl)Quinoxaline is a fluorophore that has been used as an acceptor in various fluorescence studies. 6-(Trifluoromethyl)Quinoxaline has been shown to have efficient fluorescence, with an orange maximum absorption wavelength of approximately 590 nm and a yellow emission wavelength of approximately 550 nm. It also has a singlet excited state, which can be thermally activated by irradiation with light at wavelengths shorter than 400 nm. The emission efficiency of 6-(Trifluoromethyl)Quinoxaline is dependent on the nature of the solvent, and it may be induced through electron transfer from the donor molecule to the excited state.
