Description:
2,3,5,6-Tetrafluorobenzaldehyde is a dihydroxy compound that can be used as a chlorthal-dimethyl. It is an electron donor and can be used to reduce the electrochemical potential of various metals. This compound was optimized for use in flow cells by the addition of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and ammonium salt. 2,3,5,6-Tetrafluorobenzaldehyde has also been shown to inhibit ethylene polymerization and increase the degree of polymerization in polyoxymethylene. The systematic study of 2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzaldehyde was conducted using dibutyl phthalate (DBP) as an organic solvent for ethylene polymerization.
