Description:
2,2,2-Trifluoro-N,N-dimethylacetamide (TFDA) is a chemical solvent that is used to introduce fatty acids and other compounds into carbon nanotubes. TFDA has been shown to be cytotoxic in the presence of fluorine and lithium ions. It is also a potential cancer treatment agent due to its ability to disrupt cell membranes and induce apoptosis. TFDA has been shown to inhibit the growth of tumor cells by inhibiting the production of growth factors that are essential for cell division and morphology.
