Tetrafluorophenyl methacrylate is a monomer that is used in the production of polymers. It can be polymerized with other monomers to form polymers with different properties. Tetrafluorophenyl methacrylate has been shown to have an enhancement effect on the reaction rate of peroxide-based polymerization reactions, as well as an interaction with primary amines and sulfide. This monomer also reacts with pentafluorophenyl groups to form copolymer chains. The kinetic and transfer properties of tetrafluorophenyl methacrylate have not been studied extensively.
