Description:

2,4,6-Tris(trifluoromethyl)-1,3,5-triazine is a triazine that is used as an additive in the manufacture of polyurethanes. It has been shown to have amine and cyclic structures. The compound has been used in the synthesis of organic compounds with the addition of isosteres. It has been shown to be exothermic when heated and undergoes a surface film voltammetry reaction. 2,4,6-Tris(trifluoromethyl)-1,3,5-triazine also reacts with natural products such as purines and anilines to form adducts.
