3-[4-(Trifluoromethyl)Phenoxy]-1-Propanamine is a drug that can be used to treat anorexia nervosa and hyperactivity. It is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), which prevents the reuptake of serotonin in the brain, thereby increasing the levels of serotonin. 3-[4-(Trifluoromethyl)Phenoxy]-1-Propanamine also has been shown to be effective in treating depression and anxiety, as well as psychosis.
