Tripotassium (2Z)-3-fluoro-2-(phosphonatooxy)acrylate is a vinyl ether that has been shown to react with a coordination complex. Sodium periodate was used to dephosphorylate tripotassium (2Z)-3-fluoro-2-(phosphonatooxy)acrylate, forming 2,5-difluorobenzaldehyde.
