- Dimethyl(2-Oxo-2-Phenylethyl)Sulfonium Tetrafluoroborate
- (2,3,5-Trifluorophenyl)Boronic Acid
2,3,6-Trifluorophenylboronic acid is a tricyclic compound that has been shown to inhibit γ-secretase activity. It is selective for the active site of the enzyme and has a potent inhibitory effect on the formation of Aβ peptides. 2,3,6-Trifluorophenylboronic acid can be used as an inhibitor in the coupling reaction of epoxides with sulfones. This compound also has a stereoselective synthesis process and can be used as an intermediate for the preparation of other compounds.
