It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. N2-(Trifluoroacetyl)-L-lysyl-N-(4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-L-Alaninamide has also been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines such as IL1β, IL6 and TNFα, which may be due to its ability to bind to DNA.
