Description:

URB602 is a cannabinoid receptor 2 (CB2) agonist that has been shown to inhibit tumor growth and progression in prostate cancer cells. URB602 regulates the activity of enzymes involved in metabolic processes by binding to the CB2 receptor and inhibiting enzyme activities. It also inhibits the production of prostaglandin E2, which reduces inflammation in cancerous cells. URB602 was found to have antitumor effects on du-145 cells and carcinoma cell lines, as well as reduced cell proliferation and increased apoptosis. This agent can be used as an analytical tool for measuring CB2 receptor activation or inhibition.
