Description

Zederone is a polymerase chain inhibitor that has been shown to have biological properties, such as inhibition of the growth of prostate cancer cells and promotion of apoptosis. It also inhibits acetate extract and ophiopogon japonicus. Zederone is a natural product with pharmacological effects on prostate cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to bind to receptor sites and inhibit the binding of estrogens. Zederone is also an antioxidant and can increase mitochondrial membrane potential in human serum.
