Description:
1-Chloro-3,3,3-trifluoro-1-propene is an isomer of 1,2,3-trichloropropane. It is used as a long-term insecticide and fumigant for the control of termites. 1-Chloro-3,3,3-trifluoro-1-propene is also used as a catalyst in the manufacture of polymers. The long term use of this substance has not been evaluated. Isomers of 1,2,3 trichloropropane are toxic to mammals because they cause neurological damage.
