3,4,4'-Triaminodiphenyl Ether (3,4,4'-TDAE) is a chemical compound with a catalytic effect. It has been shown to have the ability to inhibit the growth of bacteria by inducing regression and validation. 3,4,4'-TDAE inhibits bacterial DNA synthesis by binding to DNA repair enzymes and blocking their activity. 3,4,4'-TDAE also inhibits aniline metabolism in hepatocytes. This inhibition may be due to its electronegativity and its ability to form covalent bonds with anilines in proteins. 3,4,4'-TDAE is also able to promote DNA repair by acting as a linker between two DNA strands that are broken during replication.
