Description:
3-Ethyl-1-pentyn-3-ol is a solvent that is used in the hydrosilylation of silicone, in the chromatographic separation of azide compounds and other solids, and in the synthesis of organic compounds. It can also be used as a catalyst for cross-coupling reactions involving alkylating agents and ruthenium. 3-Ethyl-1-pentyn-3-ol has been investigated as an ionic liquid solvent for solid phase synthesis.
