Description:
5-(4-Methoxy-benzylidene)-thiazolidine-2,4-dione is a drug that binds to the transcription factor NF-κB and prevents its translocation into the nucleus. It is used in the treatment of inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and Crohn's disease. 5-(4-Methoxy-benzylidene)-thiazolidine-2,4-dione also has hepatoprotective effects by inhibiting oxidative stress and proinflammatory cytokines. This drug can be administered orally or intravenously.
