Description:
6-Methoxyquinoxaline is a vitamin that belongs to the group of xanthinol nicotinates. It has been shown to reduce the risk of ischemic attack and occlusive cardiac events in women with coronary heart disease. This compound also increases perfusion, which may be due to its ability to increase blood pressure and improve clinical response. 6-Methoxyquinoxaline has been shown to have a vasodilatory effect on the cochlea, which may be due to its ability to increase blood flow by increasing vascular tone and/or capillary permeability. The mechanism of action is not yet fully understood, but it has been suggested that this compound may act as an active methylene donor in the process of fibrinogen synthesis.
