- 2,4,6-Tri-P-Tolyl-S-Triazine
Tris(p-tolyl)-1,3,5-triazine is a covalent molecule that forms a coordination complex with metal ions. It has been shown to enable the synthesis of various frameworks and polymorphs of hexanitrocobaltate(III) chloride. Tris(p-tolyl)-1,3,5-triazine also reacts with Grignard reagents and chlorides in the presence of tetrahydrofuran or other solvents to produce a variety of molecules. Tris(p-tolyl)-1,3,5-triazine can be used as a catalyst for chemical reactions.
