Description:
4-(2-Acetoxyethoxy)toluene is a dimeric, acidic compound that has been used as a model compound for dermatology studies. It is not toxic or irritating to the skin and has been shown to be safe for use as a cosmetic ingredient. 4-(2-Acetoxyethoxy)toluene may also be used in the production of esters, carboxylic acid esters, and other compounds with similar structures.
