2-Fluoro-4-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)benzoic acid (FTBA) is an activated form of benzene that can be used in experiments to study the efficiency of industrial processes. FTBA is a structural isomer of 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT). The two compounds have similar chemical properties and react similarly to various adsorbates.
