Cyclopropyl(6-cyclopropyl-3-pyridinyl)methanone is an inhibitor of dopamine β-hydroxylase. It has been shown to inhibit the oxidation of dopamine to 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid and to inhibit the metabolism of methylpyridine to picolinic acid. Cyclopropyl(6-cyclopropyl-3-pyridinyl)methanone can be used as a potential treatment for Parkinson's disease.
