- Korepimedoside A
Epimedoside is a natural product that is isolated from the plant Epimedium sagittatum. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and anticancer activity in vitro and in vivo. Epimedoside has been shown to inhibit the production of prostaglandins, which are inflammatory mediators. This compound also inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells by inhibiting cell growth, protein synthesis, and RNA synthesis. Epimedoside is an analytical standard used as a reference material for HPLC analysis.
