(1-Benzyl-1H-indazol-3-yl)methanol is a compound that belongs to the class of analgesics. It is an alkali metal salt, which has been shown to be effective in reducing pain. The magnesium and chlorine are both residues, and the alcohol residue can be found in this compound as well. (1-Benzyl-1H-indazol-3-yl)methanol has been shown to have a high degree of fertility and may act as an antiinflammatory agent. This drug has not been studied for its effects on inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or asthma, but it does show some potential as an inhibitor of MCP-1.
