Product Information
DEL 22379 is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of histone deacetylases (HDACs) by binding to the enzyme and inhibiting its ability to modulate chromatin structure. Cell culture experiments have shown that DEL 22379 induces differentiation of stem cell-like cells in colorectal adenocarcinoma, suggesting that this compound may be useful as a therapeutic agent for colon cancer. The potential of DEL 22379 as an anticancer drug has been assessed experimentally using kinetic data from cell culture experiments. The results show that DEL 22379 has anti-angiogenic properties and can inhibit tumor growth and metastasis.
