Product Information
HG-9-91-01 is a potent inhibitor of the fatty acid binding protein (FABP) and has been shown to be active in animal models of colitis. HG-9-91-01 inhibits the inflammatory response by preventing FABP from binding to its receptor on macrophages, thereby inhibiting the production of proinflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα). HG-9-91-01 also has pharmacokinetic properties that make it an attractive candidate for use in humans. It is rapidly absorbed after oral administration and has a long half life.
