Description:
Rivenprost is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that binds to the periosteum, which is the outer layer of tissue around the bone. It is used to treat inflammatory bowel disease, and has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in mice. Rivenprost also has synergistic effects with other drugs, such as fatty acids. Fatty acid metabolites form a complex with rivenprost and can reduce inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. Rivenprost may also have an effect on bone growth because it stimulates collagen production in cells.
