4-(3-Bromo-4-fluorobenzyl)morpholine is an antiviral drug that inhibits the growth of viruses by interfering with their ability to replicate. It is a member of the family of herpes antiviral agents and has been shown to inhibit the replication of herpes simplex virus type 1 and 2, as well as varicella zoster virus. 4-(3-Bromo-4-fluorobenzyl)morpholine also has potent activity against other members of the herpesvirus family, including cytomegalovirus, Epstein Barr virus, and human herpesvirus 6.
