Barbadin is a synthetic cannabinoid that binds to the CB2 receptor in cells. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of cancer and has been used in animal models for this purpose. Barbadin has also been shown to induce apoptosis and inhibit cancer cell growth, although it is not yet approved for clinical use. In addition, Barbadin has been found to bind to serotonin receptors, which may explain its effects on mood and appetite.
