Product Information

Name:
ACHP Hydrochloride
Description:

ACHP Hydrochloride is a piperazine derivative that was originally developed for the treatment of infectious diseases. It has been shown to inhibit the production of chemokines and cytokines, which are important in the inflammatory response. ACHP Hydrochloride has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in vitro and in vivo. This drug has been repurposed to treat bone resorption seen in HIV patients. ACHP Hydrochloride modulates macrophage inflammatory responses by inhibiting their production of chemokines and cytokines, slowing the progression of HIV-associated osteoporosis. ACHP Hydrochloride may also be useful for treating other diseases such as Ebola virus disease and cancer.
