Product Information
- 4-Thiazolecarboxylic Acid, 2-Phenyl-, Hydrazide
2-Phenyl-1,3-thiazole-4-carbohydrazide is a compound that has been shown to have ulcerogenic effects in animals. It was also found to be equimolar with diclofenac sodium in its anti-inflammatory activity. 2-Phenyl-1,3-thiazole-4-carbohydrazide has demonstrated analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities in oral doses and can be used as an analgesic agent. This compound also has the potential to be an anti-inflammatory drug. The docking of this molecule to the pyrazole receptor site on the COX enzyme suggests that it may have a similar mechanism of action as diclofenac sodium.
