Description:
2,2-Bis(4-oxocyclohexyl)propane is a cyclic ketone that can be used as a monomer in the production of polymers. Oxidative reactions with this compound are slow and it is resistant to hydrolysis. 2,2-Bis(4-oxocyclohexyl)propane is also an antioxidant that has been shown to inhibit the oxidation of fatty acids and formic acid. In addition, it can be used for treatments involving methanol and formic acid.
