Description

4,4'-Vinylidenebis(n,n-dimethylaniline) is an organic solvent that is used in the production of polymers. It can be used as a matrix polymer and as a binder for pigments and fillers. 4,4'-Vinylidenebis(n,n-dimethylaniline) has low molecular weight and high reactivity with other molecules. This makes it useful for copolymerization with other compounds to form polymers with different properties. 4,4'-Vinylidenebis(n,n-dimethylaniline) can be an acceptor for chloride ions and sulfoxide ions in the presence of an acid catalyst. It also reacts with ethylene to form ethylenediamine.
