Tin(IV) Iodide is a compound that belongs to group P2 of the periodic table. It is a substrate film for thermal expansion and can be used as a polarizer. Tin(IV) iodide has been shown to have synergic effects with other compounds, such as polyvinyl chloride and perovskite. Tin(IV) iodide is chemically stable in the presence of hydrogen fluoride and phosphorus pentoxide, but not zirconium oxide or copper chloride. Tin(IV) iodide has high values for thermodynamic data and x-ray crystal structures.
