2-(3-Methoxy-phenyl)-2-methyl-propionic acid methyl ester is a carboxylic acid derivative with the chemical formula C9H10O4. This compound can also be used to synthesize 3-bromoanisole and 3-(4′,4″-dimethoxybenzoyl)benzoic acid by palladium catalyzed coupling.
