This chemical substance has been shown to have potent antibacterial activity against a variety of bacteria strains, including Staphylococcus aureus and E. coli. The optimal dose for 5-acetamido-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-sulfonyl chloride against these bacterial strains is between 1-5 mM.
