Description:
3-Hydroxythiophene-2-carboxamide is a sulfur-containing organic compound that can be synthesized from 3-hydroxythiophene with the introduction of a carboxyl group. 3-Hydroxythiophene-2-carboxamide is synthesized by the electrocyclic reaction of 2,5-dibromothiophene and ammonia in the presence of copper.
