Product Information
2-Benzyl-5-bromoisoindoline-1,3-dione is a human protein that belongs to the class of phthalimides. It has been shown to bind to two cavities in the enzyme and inhibit its activity. The compound has been shown to be able to cross-couple with isoindolinyl, forming a cocrystal structure. This compound has also been used as a profiling tool for organometallic compounds, which is due to its regioselectivity and kinase binding properties. 2-Benzyl-5-bromoisoindoline-1,3-dione binds to proteins in the same way that ATP does and inhibits protein kinases by binding to their ATP binding site. This inhibition leads to inhibition of cell signaling pathways such as those involved in inflammation and cancer.
