Andrograpanin is a natural compound found in the leaves of Andrographis paniculata. It has been shown to have potent anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties. Andrograpanin has been shown to be effective in treating infectious diseases caused by bacterial strains, such as Acinetobacter baumannii and Klebsiella pneumoniae. This compound also inhibits herpes simplex virus infection in vitro. Andrograpanin synergizes with monoclonal antibodies, such as thp-1 cells, to induce apoptosis and inhibit proliferation.
