Product Information
Fmoc-Tyr-Ome is a methyl alcohol that has been modified to contain an allyl group and a disulfide bond. This modification enables the molecule to form hydrophobic interactions with other molecules and prevents the formation of hydrogen bonds. The use of Fmoc-Tyr-Ome in the synthesis of polyesters has been shown to increase the rate of polymerization, resulting in faster production rates. This modification also allows for better control over the properties of polymers, such as their thermal stability, which can be achieved through modifications on both ends of the molecule.
